This is a new story for me (August 2025); it was fun to build. I created the frame utilizing the dimensions of the commercial story. I then created the books in various thicknesses, 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”, & 2” for the Psalter. I discovered after I finished the bookcase that the books, including the Apocrypha, would not all fit. Doh! So, I created the case again, this time after measuring the books first!
The case carcass is ¾” Baltic Birch, the styles on the side are Walnut, and the top is White Oak. I really like the combination.
The books are all Baltic Birch with a dimension of 3” x 3 ¾” x ½” or ¾".
