Retired Jigs For Sale
For sale on the GarageShop site? Huh? Yep, the
jigs below are available for sale because I simply do not use
them anymore and they are collecting dust. I do not use them
because I have either built a different jig or use a different
way to accomplish the task. So the stewardship of the shop
dictates that I get them into the hands of a woodworker that can
put them to use. They were built be me and are priced
for materials only, like all the projects the come out of the
GarageShop. Shipping will be extra of course. We will ship from
94546 if you want to calculate it on the
UPS
website.
I have taken recent pictures of the jigs so you can
see their current shape. Feel free to ask
any questions you may have. We would prefer a
money order, but we will also take a check. Sorry we do not have
a way to process payment by plastic. If you are
interested, simply contact me here.
Blessings, --Mark
Available Jigs
Mortising Jig--$30
Sold

This is the ShopNotes (issue 64) Mortise Jig.
You will likely need to create a new top for this jig as it was
created to fit my Bosch plunge router exactly.

I used a simple
Toggle Clamp to secure the part to be mortised.
Obviously missing here. It long ago migrated onto a number of
jigs.
You can see the four holes where the clamp attaches.

Bowl Gouge
sharpening Jig--$10
Sold

Before I got my
Tormek , this jig was very helpful. The design
for the arm is courtesy of another woodworker,
Mark Phillips.
The rectangle at the bottom of the picture is where the Slow Speed Grinder
attaches.
The knurled knobs moved onto another jig and I am fresh
out of wing nuts so I put a couple Tee--nuts here. Knobs are
plentiful and cheap.

Flush Trim
Jig--$10

This jig is one of the 5-in-1 Router system: from ShopNotes #61.
The router base attaches to this plate. I can't remember what
the other four jigs were, I I believe the base is used in them
all.

1/2 Blind Dovetail Jig--$15
I did not build this jig obviously. I
used it a few times but found that the set-up takes to much time
so it sits around collecting dust.
