Clocks!
Shelf
Clock

This is my first clock. I made it for a colleague as a
housewarming gift. The cheap camera I had in those days did not
do justice to the color or grain, but you get the idea. Ash with
Carver Tripp Honey Pine stain and a couple coats of wipe on
Poly. The design comes from Wood Magazine (November
2002).
Mantle
Clock
My second clock project was a Mantle clock for my spouse. It took a bit more time
than the shelf clock and was a lot of fun to
build.
Clock has a 6" face and is 16 3/4" tall. Materials are
White Oak, finished with Minwax Tung Oil finish.

Wall
Clock
This third clock project was a Christmas gift for a
colleague. It was the most challenging of the three. It has a
double door design so you do not have to take the clock off the
wall to set it or change the battery.
The clock has a quartz movement, does not gong and has a
paper parchment dial from Klockit.com. Great folks that I highly
recommend for clock parts.
The case is White Oak and finish is a home brew of equal
parts of polyurethane, boiled linseed oil and Naphtha.
